Travel Award
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, we are pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 Infrastructures Travel Awards, which have been granted to the following applicants:
Sujith Mangalathu, a postdoctoral fellow from University of California, Los Angeles will attend the 13th International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering (ICASP), May 26–30, 2019, in Seoul, Korea to present his paper “Machine-Learning-Based Models for the Risk and Life-Cycle Cost Analysis of Infrastructure Systems”.
Cao Wang, a PhD student in School of Civil Engineering, The University of Sydney will attend the 13th International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering (ICASP), May 26–30, 2019, in Seoul, Korea to present his paper “A Simplified Approach for Seismic Reliability Assessment of Simply Supported RC Bridges under Nonlinear Deformation and Uncertainties”.
This was a difficult decision with such highquality applications for the awards, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. We congratulate the winners for their accomplishments.
