Recent Advances in Fluid Mechanics and Transport Phenomena, 2nd Edition

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is a continuation of our previous Special Issue, “Recent Advances in Fluid Mechanics and Transport Phenomena”. Fluid mechanics and transport phenomena play a crucial role in many different engineering fields, such as in fluid machineries, chemical processes, heat exchangers, energy conversion and management, heat/mass transfer enhancement, flow resistance of propulsion, cooling of electric and electronic devices, engineering apparatus with multi-phase flow, and renewable energy systems. This Special Issue is dedicated to the current advancements in theoretical, experimental, and numerical studies of single and multiphase flows, which are of significance for the science of industrial applications. Papers addressing the latest developments in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental methods for investigating fluid flows involving transport phenomena are also of interest.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Inventions is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
