The meeting started with a presentation about the development of the journal, as well as the Section “Mental Health” in particular, and the following information was presented:

  • Section highly cited papers, geographical distribution of the Section’s Editorial Board Members, decision-making statistics, and Section statistics.

At this Editorial Board meeting, the EBMs had a positive discussion about the Section name, scope (medical psychiatry, medical psychology, and behavioral medicine), popular topics (such as hyperactive disorder and autism), article type, paper rejection rate, submissions’ diversity of country types, recruitment of Editorial Board Members, Section promotion at relevant conferences, etc. The meeting ended with a suggestion from Prof. Dr. Maremmani for the development of Special Issues.
