Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Head and neck surgery remains one of the most challenging fields for both oncologic and reconstructive surgeons. Therapeutic and reconstructive approaches are continuously evolving, and advancements in open, endoscopic, microscopic, robotic, and computer-assisted techniques have enabled unprecedented progress.

The complexity of the head and neck region, with its vital anatomical structures and functional significance, necessitates continuous innovation to enhance surgical precision, functional outcomes, and patient quality of life.

This Special Issue aims to highlight the latest advancements in head and neck surgery, encompassing a broad spectrum of topics that reflect the ongoing evolution of both oncologic and reconstructive surgery. It will explore new insights, cutting-edge techniques, technological integration, and strategies to optimize surgical approaches, improve post-surgical recovery, reduce complications, and enhance long-term patient care.

We invite researchers and clinicians to contribute original research articles and state-of-the-art reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses that investigate novel techniques, technological innovations, and emerging trends in head and neck surgery.

By bringing together leading experts and recent scientific advancements, this Special Issue seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of how surgical practice is evolving and shaping the future of patient care.

We look forward to your valuable contributions.
