Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Headaches, a ubiquitous problem, are not isolated anywhere in the world; they are everywhere. Thanks to the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3), of which the third edition was approved in 2018, diagnoses can be made according to appropriate definitions, but these do not substitute for the actual headache pathophysiology and treatment. There are also some uncertainties about diagnoses. However, we should aim to understand the relevant definitions and specific headache issues in detail to better treat them.

In this Special Issue, we invite prominent headache specialists and investigators to contribute original research and review articles that will focus on the current state-of-the-art of the diagnosis and treatment of headaches. New theories may be espoused, and new treatments discussed. The goal, as always, is to help our patients.
