Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Third International Dry Eye Workshop recognizes significant advances in the management of dry eye disease. Conventional dry eye treatments include over-the-counter products such as tear substitutes, warm compresses, lid hygiene shampoo, or lid wipes. Clinicians now have several other treatment modalities for patients who are unresponsive to traditional therapies or suffer from severe dry eyes, including newer anti-lubricants, anti-inflammatory eye drops, lipid-containing drops, secretagogues, newer designs for punctum plugs, and different types of intense pulse light and radiowave frequency delivery devices.

This Special Issue will collect contributions from distinguished authors who actively research, in their own experimental and clinical work, the most innovative treatment options for dry eye disease.
