Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

It’s a pleasure for us to invite you to participate to a special issue of Journal of Clinical Medicine, regarding all the aspects of minimally invasive surgery of abdominal wall hernias. As you know, there is still a great debate on proper indications and approaches for abdominal wall hernias, in particular on more complex situations, such as larger incisional hernias, complex abdomen, recurrent hernias, non-midline hernias. This special issue will deal on laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic approaches to abdominal wall repair and reconstruction, particularly focusing on innovations and advantages of these mini-invasive techniques in this particular field. Due to your great experience in this field, we consider your contribution (in the form of both clinical study or review) of primary importance in the development of this issue, and in the growth of scientific knowledge of the surgical community.
