As Editor-in-Chief of the
Journal of Personalized Medicine (JPM), on behalf of the Travel Award 2016 Committee, it is my pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2016
JPM Travel Award is Claudia Ojeda Granados.
Claudia Ojeda-Granados is a third-year Ph.D. student in Molecular Biology in the Medicine Doctoral Program at the Universidad of Guadalajara, Mexico. She has been involved in both basic and clinical protocols regarding nutrigenetics and nutritional intervention therapy in patients with liver disease since 2013 and she has already co-authored more than ten publications in the field. On behalf of
JPM, she will be awarded 800 Swiss Francs to attend the HGM2017 “From Genomics to Therapy” that will be held 5–7 February 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. There, she will present her work on “Nutritional Genomic Therapy as an Intervention Strategy in Patients with Obesity from West Mexico”.
