Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

e-Business is a field of study in which researchers continually create and implement new modelling frameworks and systems, strategic management methods, software tools, and analytical methods. e-Business strategies and systems aim to support e-Business development more effectively, efficiently, and reliably.

The developers of e-Business systems focus on system artifacts conceptualization, modelling, designing, implementation, and evaluation. However, beyond that, they consider e-Business economics, security, and reliability.  Therefore, e-Business development requires strategy modelling and management, requirement elicitation, modelling  the business needs, and the creation of prototypes to emphasize how the system should be built. e-Business systems are developed and implemented always in a certain context. Therefore, managers are always asked to consider the social, economic, legal, and technological feasibility of e-Business. They are asked to provide risk and benefit analyses, through Web analytics methods and tools.

This Special Issue reflects e-Business strategy and system development as a critical phase in e-Business-system life-cycle management.

This Special Issue invites papers covering a wide range of topics, ranging from e-Busines system requirement conceptualization to Web analytics for e-Business management and re-engineering.

We will accept papers for peer review in the following areas of interest:

  • e-Business Strategy Management;
  • e-Business Risk Management;
  • e-Business Trust Management;
  • Cybersecurity;
  • e-Business FinTech Systems;
  • e-Business Economics and Finance;
  • e-Business Analytics.
