Dear Colleagues,
Reliability management and maintenance optimization are the most fundamental and interdisciplinary research areas that can be applied to every technical and management field, especially in industrial engineering. In this field, mathematical methods can play a vital role in constructing a correct reliability evaluation model and scheduling an optimal maintenance policy. The main scope of this Special Issue entitled “Reliability Management and Maintenance Optimization with Mathematical Models in Industrial Engineering” focuses on advances in the reliability modelling, maintenance optimization, and quality management problems in industrial engineering, especially problems solved with various mathematical approaches. The Guest Editors seek submissions with an original perspective and advanced thinking from a variety of fields to solve practical challenges in industrial engineering. Both theoretical models with mathematical methods and practical studies in practical engineering are welcome.
