Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for biliary diseases have significantly improved in recent years. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has led to a minimally invasive approach for the diagnosis of both benign, such as lithiasis, and malignant conditions, such as cholangiocarcinoma. Minimally invasive approaches, such as ERCP or more recently interventional EUS, have significantly modified patients’ outcomes and their quality of life. Surgical approaches have also improved in recent years especially the minimally invasive approach for gallbladder diseases. The aim of this Special Issue is to publish original research articles, literature reviews, case reports, and case series on the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for biliary diseases from both the endoscopic and surgical points of view.
