XXXIV Congress of The Italian Society for General Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology (SIMGBM)
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 34th Congress of the Italian Society for General Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology will be held in Cagliari, on the beautiful island of Sardinia, September 21–24, 2023.
The aim of “Microbiology 2023” is to showcase the progress of microbiological research in Italy and to build an international forum by providing the participants with the opportunity to present their latest achievements in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere in the warm Mediterranean climate. The Congress will be held completely in English and the scientific program, which involves prominent scientists from both European and American institutions, includes three plenary lectures from keynote speakers, six plenary sessions, and three parallel sessions in different fields of microbiology. We would like to invite microbiologists from all over the world to attend “Microbiology 2023” for active academic and scientific exchanges, as well as to fully experience Cagliari’s diverse historical heritage, culture, traditions, and food, as well as the wonderful landscapes of Sardinia.
