About Modelling

Aims

Modelling (ISSN 2673-3951) is an international, quarterly, peer-reviewed open access journal that focuses on theory and applications of modelling and simulation in engineering science.

Modelling provides an advanced forum for studies related to the development and applications of modelling and simulation techniques. It mainly publishes regular research papers, communications, and review papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their model developments and simulation results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. The full details on modelling, calibration, validation, and application must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the algorithmic formulations, implementations, validation examples, and computational applications, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary electronic material.

MDPI Publication Ethics Statement

MDPI is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
