2010	Neurology International was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1, Issue 1.
2011	Neurology International was indexed in PubMed Central (PMC)—National Library of Medicine (NLM), starting with Volume 1, Issue 1.
2015	Neurology International was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1, Issue 1.
2020	Neurology International was published by MDPI from Volume 12 Issue 3 (2020).
2024	Neurology International adopted a bimonthly publication schedule.
2025	Neurology International adopted a monthly publication schedule. Neurology International established the following sections: Movement Disorders and Neurodegenerative Diseases; Brain Tumor and Brain Injury; Brain Aging Neuroscience; Pain Research. Neurology International announced the first edition of the Travel Award. The Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (PFADRD) became affiliated to Neurology International.
