Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Optimal glycemic control is pivotal to the successful outcome of type 1 diabetic Pregnancy. These goals are best obtained with diet, exercise, and insulin treatment. A good dietary pattern can help reduce the incidence of perinatal complications such as hyperglycaemia, hypoglycaemia, ketoacidosis, optimising weight gain, and improve neonatal outcomes. The present Special issue will focus overall of nutritional management including macro- and micro- nutrients on preventing pregnancy risks and promoting natal health. Recently, women with type 1 diabetes are encouraged to breastfeed. Dietary management of successful breastfeeding for maternal and neonatal health is also interested in this issue.
