Distinguished Paper Award
The Optics Editorial Office is pleased to announce the launch of the Optics Distinguished Paper Award, which aims to recognize outstanding research and foster academic progress in the field of optics. This award will recognize two outstanding papers published in 2025, with the winners being announced in March 2026. Each winning paper will be awarded CHF 500 and a certificate.
We invite all scholars dedicated to conducting research in optics to participate actively, sharing your insights and discoveries. We look forward to seeing how this award inspires more innovative thinking and excellent research achievements.

Eligibility and Requirements
– All papers published in Optics in 2025 (both regular papers and Special Issue submissions).
Selection Criteria
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of research objectives and/or ideas presented;
– Creativity of study design or uniqueness of approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
