Dear Colleagues,
Metal nanoparticles and nanocomposites have significantly contributed to the development in the field of nanotechnology. Nanoparticles and nanocomposites possess remarkable properties and provide opportunities for future advanced applications. The investigation of nanocomposites has emerged as a significant research area, due to their exceptionally broad range of activities, allowing reactions to be achieved more effectively and efficiently. This Special Issue focuses on the recent advances in metal nanoparticles and nanocomposites, and their applications, and covers all the related fields of study. Special attention will be paid to the following topics:
- Synthesis of metal nanoparticles incorporated on polymers;
- Green synthesis of metal nanoparticles and their applications;
- Polymer nanocomposites;
- Nanoparticle formation analysis.
This Special Issue enables academies of science, research scientists, engineers, and regulatory bodies to promote their scientific and technical advancements in the research of metal nanoparticles and nanocomposites. We would like to invite authors to submit their latest research in the form of original full articles, communications, or reviews on this topic.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Polymers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
