Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Water pollution is one of the main problems facing humanity due to the presence of a large number of regulated and unregulated or emerging pollutants.
Despite the significant efforts undertaken globally in the field of water pollution reduction, it is known that a significant percentage of the world's wastewater returns to the environment without being treated or reused, and the application of optimal pollution reduction solutions remains a challenge.
This Special Issue aims to present research articles and review papers that can provide integrated approaches on methods, solutions and application of best practices for water pollution reduction and a sustainable environment.
In this regard, researchers from all over the world who study this and related issues are invited to contribute their work to this Special Issue, in order to emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of the complex relationship between water quality and human health.
Water is a unique and unreplaceable natural resource, crucial for human health and wellbeing and preventing and reducing water pollution is essential to improving quality of life and promoting sustainable development protecting future resources.
