Aims

The Veterinary Vaccines section focuses on advancements in the development, evaluation, and use of vaccines for various animal species. It serves as a platform to publish research promoting disease prevention, enhancing animal welfare, and supporting One Health strategies, which connect veterinary and human health.

Scope

This section invites the submission of articles on aspects of veterinary vaccinology, including the following topics:

  • Design and development of vaccines for domestic and farm animals, including aquatic species and wildlife;
  • Assessments of immunogenicity, safety, and efficacy;
  • Innovative delivery systems and adjuvants;
  • Clinical and field trials;
  • Prevention of zoonotic diseases and One Health approaches;

Submissions may include original research, reviews, and short communications that contribute to the scientific and practical advancement of veterinary vaccines.
