Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Ms. Ref. No.  medicina-1759079

Title: DNA methylation by bisulfite next-generation sequencing for MLH1 and MGMT in oral squamous cell carcinomas and potentially malignant disorders: an integrative analysis towards field cancerization.

This paper is should be considerable interest to many of the readers of Medicina. So, this paper should be published without change.

Author Response

We want to thank the reviewer's comments. We think that this article will be very useful for our colleagues.

Reviewer 2 Report

In this study by Padin-Iruegas and colleagues evaluate the correlation between levels of MHL1 and MGMT methylation in oral malignancies and clinical outcomes. It is concluded that the two marker do not correlate with clinical-pathological features of patients. Overall, this study has been carefully performed.

Opportunity for improvement: Figure 1 is poor in resolution and it is not possible properly identify labelling. A better resolution image with large font should be employe.

Author Response

We agree with reviewer's comment and we have make the image sections bigger to appreciate all the details.
