Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have given a detailed theoretical investigation of the nonlinear relaxation electrophysical phenomena in dielectrics with iconic-molecular chemical bonds in a wide range of fields and temperatures.

I recommend revisions before publication. More specific comments are below:

1. The authors should significantly review the entire manuscript for grammar problems of words, expressions and sentences. The English writing is the main problem of this article.

There are many sentences that are very hard to read. I suggest the authors to use short sentences to make the statements clear and avoid grammar mistakes.

2. As the paper mainly focuses on deducing the mathematical formulas, I advise the authors to give some pictures to assist in understanding the physical mechanism of the present problem investigated.

3. Suggest the authors give a few calculated graphs of the theoretical results, such as the ion concentration and the dielectric permittivity.

  4. The Eqs. (a.1) and (a.2) are just expressions. Please check them.

Author Response

Dear colleague!

Please see the attachment.

The manuscript is corrected according of Your recommendations:

1) 1. The authors should significantly review the entire manuscript for grammar problems of words, expressions and sentences. The English writing is the main problem of this article.

Reply: to satisfy the recommendation, a master of English philology was involved.

2) As the paper mainly focuses on deducing the mathematical formulas, I advise the authors to give some pictures to assist in understanding the physical mechanism of the present problem investigated.

Reply: According to the comments, section 6 was introduced ( pages 32-37) which provides an analysis of the physical meaning of the obtained dependencies.  on the basis of it graphs are built 1,2

3) Suggest the authors give a few calculated graphs of the theoretical results, such as the ion concentration and the dielectric permittivity.

Reply: graphs 1,2 are given in the section 6

The Eqs. (a.1) and (a.2) are just expressions. Please check them.

Reply: the expressions (a.1) and (a.2) on page 7 are auxiliary when performing Fourier transformations for (9) and are calculated correctly

All corrections in the manuscript are marked up using the
“Track Changes” function.

Reviewer 2 Report

The purpose of the manuscript is to develop general analytical methods for studying influence of the nonlinearities of the kinetic equations of the original phenomenological model on the mechanism for the formation of the volume-charge distribution in the dielectrics, which is also stated by the authors.
This work is continuation of the previous studies of the authors.

I found their theoretical study very detailed and I think it can help related studies in need of theoretical background.

For me, the abstract should be improved as it doesn't clearly show what the manuscript is really about.

Author Response

Dear colleague!

Please see the attachment.

The manuscript is corrected according to your recommendations: 'For me, the abstract should be improved as it doesn't clearly show what the manuscript is really about.'

In this regard the abstract has been revised. In the section on page 3, an additional piece of text is highlighted

All changes are marked up using the  “Track Changes”.

Respectfully,
