Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1.       Generally, the sentences are hard to understand! Accordingly, a deep proofreading of the manuscript is necessary. E.g.:

- “Reserve estimate” in the first line of the Introduction must be replaced by “Reserve estimation”.

- The first two sentences in the Introduction must emerge.

- etc.

2.       The Subsection “2.1. Case study Area for grade Estimation” must be sorted as a Subsection of Section 3.

The English Language of the manuscript must be extensively improved.

Comments

1

Please mention the numeric values in abstract “The suggested technique has higher R-squared coefficients and lower RMSE and R values”

2

Line No 70: correct the format.

3

Line no 80: correct the format.

The manuscript appears to be grammatically correct and well-structured. No major grammar or structural mistakes are detected. The information is clear, and the sentences flow logically, providing a concise summary of the research paper's objective, methodology, and findings.

Reviewer 3 Report

The authors propose optimizing a machine learning model using the Marine Predator Algorithm (MPA). This optimized model is used to predict gold resources.

The manuscript describes an interesting proposal. I have the following comments:

- The authors use several acronyms without a definition: WOA, GA, ACO, DE, ….
- What is the motivation to use MPA to optimize the machine learning models? Is there a justification in the existing literature where MPA is more appropriate to optimize these models? I know that DE and PSO have demonstrated their power in this field. A comparison of MPA results with other algorithms may highlight the use of MPA.
- I suggest improving the paragraphs describing the proposed approach (Section 2.4) to clarify how the authors implement it. In particular, the paragraph in lines 383-397.

The English writing of the document should be reviewed.
