Cover Story: The use of sugarcane residues in concrete contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing its improper disposal, as well as the reduction of aggregate extraction. The addition of these residues in the interlocking concrete block reduced the surface temperature and the water evaporation rate in comparison to the control composite. View this paper.
