The journal retracts the article titled “Power Cable Status Evaluation Method Based on Electrical Tree Growth and Data Association Rules” [1], cited above.
Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office to raise concerns relating to major scientific limitations and errors contained within this study [1].
Adhering to our standard procedure, the Editorial Board evaluated a range of scientific errors that included significant limitations relating to the use of a stress–strength interference model in the context of cable discharge analysis and errors within raw data.
As a result, the Editorial Board and the authors agreed that these limitations and errors compromise the validity of the overall findings and mutually decided to retract this publication [1], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Processes.
The authors agreed to this retraction.
