Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In the last decade, Internet of Things (IoT) technology has made remarkable strides in agriculture. Initially focused on precision farming, IoT now facilitates real-time monitoring and management of crops and environmental conditions. From basic sensors, it has advanced into sophisticated networks incorporating data analytics, machine learning, and automation, transforming the agriculture sector.

This Special Issue aims to explore the latest advancements and applications of IoT in agroecosystems. It seeks to address how IoT technology can enhance agricultural productivity, sustainability, and resource management. By bringing together a collection of cutting-edge research, this Special Issue will highlight innovative solutions and practical implementations that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of modern agriculture.

This Special Issue emphasizes the latest IoT and AI advancements, including smart irrigation, automated disease management, and precision agriculture. These studies illustrate how IoT can address key challenges such as climate change, food security, and sustainable farming practices.

We invite original research and review articles on innovative IoT applications in agroecosystems, seeking papers that provide practical insights, technological advancements, and comprehensive reviews of current trends and future prospects in this dynamic field.
