Dear Colleagues,
In recent decades, electrochemical sensors has receicved considerable attention as they are versatile, easy to operate, economical,portable and simple to construct. Various chemical and biologically significant molecules can be detected using electrochemcial devices such as amperometric sensors, potentiometric sensors, impedance sensors, photoelectrochemical sensors and so on. With the advent of nanomaterials there seems to be a good improvement in the performance of the sensors in terms of selectivity and sensitivity. This Special Issue will cover the recent advances in the development of nanomaterials based electrochemical sensors and biosensors for the detection of wide variety of analytes. In addition it can provide a potential platform for further development of electrochemical based sensor devices.
