Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Medical Imaging in Cancer Diagnosis and Precision Care

Dear Colleagues,

There is an increasing interest in healthcare applications of artificial intelligence (AI). Because of the central role of advanced imaging in oncologic care and diagnosis and the digital format of medical images, there has been tremendous interest in radiomics and AI applications using medical imaging. This is particularly important in oncology where AI-based diagnostic assistant tools have the potential to enhance diagnosis and enable more precise and personalized therapy. This Special Issue will highlight the important potential role of computerized image analysis and AI applications using advanced imaging for precision oncology, including integration of multi-dimensional data combining image-extracted features with other data types for prediction modeling.

Research articles, review articles as well as communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
