Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Surgery remains the most important therapy for colorectal cancer, especially for the cure of this common disease. The last two decades have seen great improvements in surgical therapies and strategies with better understanding of the disease and augmented technologies that enable its address. This Special Issue aims to bring together a spectrum of authoritative perspectives and datasets to define current best practice in the surgical care of patients with colorectal cancer and to provide information regarding the most relevant and likely next step advances in this field. In particular, papers which provide data-based evidence will be prioritized, and all aspects of ‘surgical’ management, such as patient stratification and preparation, complications, endoscopic approaches, as well as minimally (including existing and new robotic platforms) and maximally invasive operative care.
