Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue aims to advance the understanding and clinical management of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), a prevalent malignancy of the head and neck region. The focus will be on cutting-edge diagnostic techniques, including molecular biomarkers, advanced imaging modalities such as PET-CT and 3D modeling, and artificial intelligence-driven tools for early detection and accurate staging. Contributions will explore novel screening methods and their role in improving diagnostic precision. Additionally, this Special Issue will address contemporary management strategies, encompassing navigation-guided surgical interventions, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. Emphasis will be placed on personalized treatment approaches, including the use of genomic profiling to guide therapeutic decisions and improve patient outcomes. The role of multidisciplinary collaboration in optimizing care, rehabilitation, and quality of life for OSCC patients will also be highlighted. By compiling insights from leading experts, this Special Issue seeks to provide a comprehensive resource on innovative diagnostics and tailored therapeutic strategies to enhance the prognosis and management of OSCC.
