Diagnosis and Management of Gastrointestinal Inflammatory Disorders

Dear Colleagues,

The Editors of Diagnostics have intended to publish a Special Issue, entitled “Diagnosis and Management of Gastrointestinal Inflammatory Disorders.” The Special Issue is dedicated to presenting innovative clinical and basic science topics of a wide range of inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and related areas. I am privileged to be the Guest Editor of this issue. The Special Issue aims to approach and influence the care of patients with inflammatory diseases of the gut, demonstrate basic research and its clinical implications, and develop a relevant commentary by experts in the field. This Special Issue will indicate diagnostic techniques and elucidative discussions of diagnostic modalities, management of patient care, and present recent progress of basic research in these areas. We kindly encourage medical doctors and scientists to submit original research articles, in-depth reviews, results of recent clinical trials, and interesting case reports. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed and indexed as regular papers in the journal.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Diagnostics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
