Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, entitled “Sustainable Energy Management: New Development Horizons”, aims to explore the future landscape of energy and its sustainable management. As global energy demand grows, sustainable development remains a universally accepted framework, endorsed by the United Nations. As the global energy demand grows, the main challenge is to achieve a sustainable and universally accepted transition from fossil energy to renewable energy or find a sustainable balance using both approaches despite existing inherent challenges and limitations. This Special Issue seeks to highlight the emerging horizons in sustainable energy, focusing on advancements in alternative energy sources, the optimization of energy usage, and the integration of digital, self-learning technologies in energy management systems. Topics of interest include the development of renewable energy technologies, innovations in energy storage and conversion, the role of smart grids and microgrids, and the application of artificial intelligence in the design of energy systems. We encourage the submission of contributions that align with these themes and resonate with the broader scope of Energies. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for cutting-edge research and forward-thinking ideas that will shape the future of sustainable energy management.
