Topical Collection Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, the hospital sector has undergone great change both in terms of reappropriating its own culture and values and in terms of fostering the continuous efficiency of the human resources working within it. All this has been exacerbated by the importance of having faced, with the few resources available, a major crisis due to the pandemic.

The majority of studies in the literature on the subject reports that the impact of anxiety on job performance is significant and affects work at both an individual and organizational level; on the contrary, workers with high job satisfaction have lower levels of illness, stress, tension, and anxiety [1,2].

It is, therefore, considered important to set up a debate that brings to light research that addresses the possibility and the effect it has on highlighting how protective factors (resilience, self-efficacy, etc.) are able to prevent and cope with stress factors and, thus, promote well-being and job satisfaction. This Special Issue’s primary focus is on psychological health.

I look forward to receiving your contributions.
