Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that IJMS is now inviting nominations for the IJMS 2024 Young Investigator Award. This prize will be given to five young investigators in recognition of their excellence in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular biophysics, biomaterials, and molecular medicine. All nominations will be assessed by an Award Evaluation Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Maurizio Battino.

The prize:
– CHF 1000;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements:
– Must have received their PhD no more than 10 years prior to 31 December 2024;
– Must have produced groundbreaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of any of the following research fields: biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular biophysics, biomaterials, or molecular medicine;
– Candidates must be nominated by senior scientists.

List of Documents for Nomination:
– Detailed Curriculum Vitae, including an updated publication list and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;
– Scanned copy of doctorate certificate;
– Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.

Schedule:
– Open for nominations: 28 March 2024;
– Nomination deadline: 30 November 2024;
– Winners announced: 31 January 2025.
