The advent of Industry 4.0 and the emerging paradigm of Industry 5.0 have revolutionized various aspects of industrial engineering and supply chain management. These technologies, characterized by the integration of cyber–physical systems, the Internet of Things, and advanced data analytics, offer unprecedented opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in industrial settings. This Special Issue aims to explore the applications of Industry 4.0/5.0 in the context of sustainable industrial engineering and supply chain management.
The primary objective of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their latest findings, methodologies, and case studies related to the applications of Industry 4.0/5.0 for sustainable industrial engineering and supply chain management. The Special Issue will encompass various interdisciplinary topics that address both theoretical advancements and practical implications in this field. We invite original research articles, review papers, and case studies that explore the Special Issue on "Applications of Industry 4.0/5.0 for Sustainable Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management" aims to cover recent advances in the development and application in industrial engineering and supply chains with the indulgence of Industry 4.0/5.0.
All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and relevance of the published articles.
