2024 March-2 - 180 articles

Cover Story: The Goddard Laser for Absolute Measurement of Radiance (GLAMR) was used in the instrument-level characterization of the Landsat-9 Operational Land Imager-2 (OLI-2) in place of a traditional monochromator system, providing an unparalleled level of uncertainty and fidelity of the spectral and radiometric response. The OLI-2 was placed in a thermal vacuum chamber at Ball Aerospace, Boulder CO, where the GLAMR system was deployed. The GLAMR integrating sphere, coupled to the GLAMR laser tables, was installed in front of the window of the chamber containing OLI-2. The GLAMR system provided OLI-2 with a full aperture, full dynamic range, spatially and spectrally uniform, monochromatic light source for the characterization of its in-band response and out-of-band response between 350 and 2500 nm. View this paper
