The journal retracts the article titled “Numerical Simulation of Micromixing of Particles and Fluids with Galloping Cylinder” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the publisher regarding the usage of unusual phrases, image integrity, the relevance of citations and the validity of the findings presented in this article [1].
Adhering to our procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and the Editorial Board. During this process, the authors were unable to satisfactorily clarify the presence of the above-mentioned concerns, or provide supplementary material for the Editorial Board to verify the overall validity of the findings presented.
As a result, the Editorial Board has lost confidence in the integrity of the findings, and decided to retract this publication [1], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Symmetry.
The authors did not agree with this decision.
