Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This work provides a nice analysis considering the FSI. Overall, the paper is well written and results are sound. However, to be more scientific, the methodology part can be improved significantly. Here are my comments:

1) The properties in Tab 1 and Tab 2., authors should provide the corresponding temperature and pressure.

2) For equation 3., the time derivative part of (\rho k) should not be there.

3) For equation 5. since all other equations for fluids are written in index notation, the equation of motion for structure (here Eq.5), should also be written in index notation to ensure consistent.

4) For equation 5, the x in this equation means the displacement. However, x already appears above with x_i (coordinate). Thus authors should use other symbols to avoid such conflict. It is commonly to use "u" as displacement, and "v_i" for the velocity.

5) The last issue would concern the experiment. Could authors also state somewhere about the uncertainty of the experiment measurement (errors).

The authors should be modifying the following minor corrections:

1. Abstract should be update.

2. Incorporate SI units in nomenclature.

3. Add more recent literature in introduction part.

4. Physical applications missing in results and discussion.

5. Give proper references for governing equations.
