Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Endocrine and neuroendocrine tumors represent heterogeneous diseases that have an endocrine cell onset as a common denominator. Many of these neoplasms are relatively rare and may be included in genetic syndromes. Their treatment is often challenging and requires a multidisciplinary approach. In recent years, we have witnessed an improvement in the biological and pathogenetic knowledge of these diseases, and new effective drugs have been identified.
This Special Issue will focus on the current state of the art and future prospects in a) diagnosis, b) genetics, c) biology and genomics, d) multidisciplinary approaches and the effectiveness of currently available therapies, and e) new molecular targeted therapies and immunotherapies.
