Nutritional Policies and Education for Health Promotion
A section of Nutrients (ISSN 2072-6643).
Section Information
The “Nutritional Policies and Education for Health Promotion” section of Nutrients aims to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research on the development of nutritional policies and nutritional education programs that could tackle various aspects of nutrition-related diseases, including overnutrition and undernutrition as well as micronutrient imbalances. Nutritional policy is regarded as a specific set of decisions with related actions developed at a central or local governmental level, which should often be supported by legislative initiatives and other related actions in order to enable policy goals to be achieved. Nutritional education programs should be implemented to render relevant nutritional policies effective at the community and/or population level. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and commentaries in wide areas of interest, including nutritional labelling, reformulation/fortification, fiscal incentives and disincentives, assistance for special population groups, and programs in the school environment and in the workplace.
