Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Overweight or obese women are at high risk for numerous chronic conditions related to obesity. Evidence is clear that diet plays a significant role in weight management and preventing or delaying chronic conditions. Women at different life stages may need different intervention emphasis. Yet, effective strategies to help overweight or obese women to adhere to healthy eating and/or sustain healthy eating patterns remind unclear. Also, lessons learned and strategies used to facilitate the sustainment of evidence-based dietary intervention by community settings are limited. Moreover, mechanism of healthy eating needs to be explored. This special issue invites manuscripts addressing one of these areas or relevant areas.
