Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cement-based construction materials are very essential for sustaining our lives and are the most demanding solids in the world. Recent advances in the research of cement engineering have witnessed continuous development and innovation, especially in the production and utilization of cement-based materials. This Special Issue, entitled “Research Process Innovations in Cement Engineering”, is being put together for building and showcasing the latest awareness of the broad array of research trends, outcomes, and opportunities regarding the comprehensive areas of cement engineering. The potential topics of interest of this Special Issues include, but are not limited to: cement clinkering process; development of alternative cements; life-cycle assessment of cement production; novel applications of cement-based materials; high-performance mortar/concrete; recycling of cement-based materials; computer-aided approach for the prediction of construction materials exposed to harsh conditions; and durability assessment of cement-based materials. Original research papers, short communications, state-of-the-art reports, and discussions are all welcomed.
