AI and Data-Driven Advancements in Industry 4.0

Topic Information
Dear Colleagues,
Our society is filled with various modalities of data: pictures, words, voices, videos, remote-sensing images, and more. Data-driven artificial intelligence brings the promise of deriving meaning from all of that data to us and has opened extraordinary theoretic and application-based opportunities. In recent years, abundant theories and algorithms are proposed, trusted, and utilized to finance, security, healthcare, education, sustainability, neuroscience, sports, et al. Motivated by these discoveries, substantial AI-based techniques are applied in various domains, such as medical image analysis, virtual reality, human-computer interaction, remote-sensing representations, et al.
This topic aims to gather and showcase the most recent advances in the areas of next-generation artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 applications. Our interest is in the whole spectrum of big data and artificial intelligence research in diversified domains, including sophisticated framework design, training strategy, optimization, trusted and robust, and the corresponding applications. Topic contents include (but are not limited to):
- computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning
- multi-modal learning, object recognition, detection, segmentation, and tracking
- graph neural network, knowledge graph, recommendation system
- pattern recognition and intelligent system
- blockchain theory or application
- artificial intelligence security, data security and privacy
- trusted data sharing, digital intellectual property protection
- bioinformatics, medical image analysis and processing

Preprints.org is a multidisciplinary platform offering a preprint service designed to facilitate the early sharing of your research. It supports and empowers your research journey from the very beginning.
MDPI Topics is collaborating with Preprints.org and has established a direct connection between MDPI journals and the platform. Authors are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity by posting their preprints at Preprints.org prior to publication:
- Share your research immediately: disseminate your ideas prior to publication and establish priority for your work.
- Safeguard your intellectual contribution: Protect your ideas with a time-stamped preprint that serves as proof of your research timeline.
- Boost visibility and impact: Increase the reach and influence of your research by making it accessible to a global audience.
- Gain early feedback: Receive valuable input and insights from peers before submitting to a journal.
- Ensure broad indexing: Web of Science (Preprint Citation Index), Google Scholar, Crossref, SHARE, PrePubMed, Scilit and Europe PMC.
