Cover Story: The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics—augmented by weak-scale supersymmetry—is a highly motivated extension of the SM, which also predicts additional Higgs bosons that carry electric charge. Such new charged Higgs matter states can be produced at high rates at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, and they would then decay into both SM and new SUSY particle final states. Here, we present their production cross sections, decay rates and prospects for discovery or exclusion at the future high luminosity LHC experiments in the well-motivated case of natural SUSY models, which are thought to emerge from the string theory landscape of vacua.
