Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The field of cardiac imaging has seen remarkable advancements, drastically transforming the landscape of both the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. Contemporary imaging modalities, including cardiac magnetic resonance, computed tomography, and nuclear imaging, have revolutionized our approach to cardiac care. This Special Issue, entitled “Cardiac MRI: Current Techniques and Future Directions”, will collect developments in cardiac MRI and provide novel insights into their clinical applications.

This Special Issue will overview new relevant applications of this technology, new useful cardiac MRI sequences, the latest evidence, and unresolved issues in cardiology practice. Therefore, I welcome the submission of innovative original research papers and some in-depth review articles dealing with cardiac MRI use in acute and/or chronic cardiac situations.
