Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common disorder that encompasses very different clinical patterns and may be associated with increased risk for diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
This Special Issue will focus on some important clinical problems, including the role of obesity and metabolic disorders in pathogenesis and in clinical evolution of the disorder. New possible classification of the syndrome based on genetic and clinical clusters will be discussed. The treatment of special clinical problems in PCOS will be reviewed and new data will be presented.
We invite contributions to this important project and encourage discussion on pathogenesis and the new possible classification of the polycystic ovary syndrome.
