2025 July-2 - 164 articles

Cover Story: CoFeP-Ni(OH)2 composite electrodes were fabricated on nickel foam via a two-step process involving the hydrothermal growth of Ni(OH)2 followed by the electrochemical deposition of CoFeP. The Ni(OH)2 interlayer provides a robust interface and facilitates synergistic redox reactions, enhancing the pseudocapacitive behavior. Compared to CoFeP/NF, the composite exhibits improved charge transfer efficiency and a larger electroactive surface area. The optimized electrode delivers a high areal capacitance of 4244 mF cm−2 at 2 mA cm−2. An assembled asymmetric supercapacitor shows 0.19 mWh cm−2 at 0.37 mW cm−2 with 72% capacitance retention after 5000 cycles. View this paper
