Cover Story: In Angola, organizations have faced difficulties in promoting the commitment of their employees due to the lack of stimulating organizational environments and the financial constraints faced by these companies. Psychological capital has been identified as a significant predictor of employees' organizational commitment, as it facilitates a more comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of organizational commitment. Moreover, this study aims to analyze the moderating role of perceived aversive leadership in the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment. Consequently, the findings of this study may inform the development of more sophisticated managerial selection techniques to ensure that professionals with aversive behaviors cannot hold positions of responsibility.
